  1. Aug 4, 2025 Council Meeting: Council Member Doug Horak asks the mayor why his wife appears to be emailing upcoming meeting agendas to their group of supporters days before the Council Members themselves get to see them. Watch to the end to see the mayor’s explanation.
  2. Jan 12, 2026 Council Meeting: After a unanimous vote to censure Mayor Hulsey for his repeated refusals to add Councillors’ items to the meeting agendas, the enraged mayor accuses his colleagues of being hypocrites, verbally attacks Council Member James Watkins with profanity, and then assaults him by grabbing the back of his head. The Sheriff’s Deputy had to intervene. The story made it to the Star Telegram, including a video clip of the fiasco.
